what is love?

"...Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.   Love never fails...." 

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

In the light of what has transpired on the news in the past couple of weeks, (Penn State, Black Friday melee, etc.) I urge one and all to meditate on the above verse. This is one of my favorite Bible verses and as you can see, there is nothing in it or about it that can be taken out of context. It says what it says. What you do after reading it is up to you. It is my hope, my PRAYER, that you take it to heart and allow it to act within you and through you. It has been said if you fight for peace, you will create more wars. If you LOVE for peace, love will prevail.
