Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!

Remember that funny looking kid? The one whose nose was too big, according to Peppermint Patty? She should know, right? She who never wore a dress and  played baseball like a pro! This is for all those who feel like a misfit....the ones who just don't "fit in" to what society expects of them. So...if you are an addict, an alcoholic, a druggie, black, white, grey, yellow, red, purple or any of the above colors...if you are pure German or a mixture of every nationality...if you are gay, straight or both, if you have long hair and a beard or no hair at all, if you are Baptist, Catholic, atheist, agnostic, deist, or just the fella next door trying to get a break...if you are in prison, a felon or trying to be one....if you are homeless or just trying to make a decent living on minimum wage...if you like coffee or not.....if you eat sushi or hamburger...if you are a vegan,  a coupon clipper or an all out "spend as if there is no tomorrow" person....if you are unique in any way at all...then, as Mr Rogers said, "I like you JUST the way you are!" So join me in saying, "merry Christmas!" May you have a blessed and wonderful day. Don't get bent all out of shape if all you could give is "yourself" this year....that is the bestest present of all!

"Come, they told me, pa rum rum rum rum...a newborn King to see, pa rum rum rum rum...our finest gifts we bring, pa rum rum rum rum...."

Remember...all the Little Drummer Boy could give was the gift of his drum...
"Then, He smiled at me....me and my drum!"

  3. May you have a beautiful day. Enjoy this gift that you have been given: namely the gift of compassion. Look both inward at yourself, then outward at others. How can you best use your gifts? The gift of yourself is the greatest gift of all. Keep up the words...others need to hear them!
