Thanks be to God!!

Several days ago, a food shelf in Minneapolis, Minnesota was robbed of it's 1500 pounds of food. Someone posing as a "church volunteer" took the food that would have fed about 200 families this Christmas. The responses on the news blog went something like this:
"That SOB!"
"He deserves to die!"
"What a Grinch..."
and so on and so forth. My reply to this news station blog was that maybe that person needed it more. and maybe, just maybe...if one believed...we could all witness a miracle, for isn't that what Christmas is? A season of miracles? After some prayer time about it, I watched with anticipation.

Behold the Power of His Mighty Hand!

In just ONE day...ONE DAY-- over 2000 pounds of food was collected! In just ONE day!
The church's minister said they needed a Christmas miracle and got one, and will now be able to help feed less-fortunate members of the their community.

So far, police have not made any arrests in the theft.

Isn't it amazing what the power of love for another can do and does??? I am always amazed at the spirit of giving from others. Contrary to what the news would have you believe...we do live in a positive world where the comfort of another is not just an afterthought. Although we tend to get stuck in our own selfish ruts, all it takes is a crisis to show love for our fellow human...but why? Why can't we just "be that way" all year long? Come on, as the new year approaches make that YOUR resolution...help another. Just BE for someone else. "What can I do?" should be your mantra for each and every day!

May God be with you and in you and through you...may His wondrous deeds shine forth!
